Jack Dorsey On Indian Government: Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has made a sensational claim about the Government of India. After Dorsey’s claim, there has been an uproar in the country’s politics, where the entire opposition is attacking the Modi government, while the government and the BJP are seen to be on the defensive.
On Jack Dorsey’s allegations, BJP leader and head of IT cell Amit Malviya while talking to ABP News rejected all the allegations. He said that “Jack Dorsey has made similar allegations on every country where he was running his operation. His allegations include American and the US Congress has called Dorsey to appear before him four times, Because Twitter’s role in the presidential election was questionable.”
The law of the country has to be followed- Malviya
Malviya said, “Naturally, when Jack Dorsey was the CEO of Twitter, Twitter was acting above the sovereignty of many countries. It was refusing to obey the laws there. At a time when law and order in India If there was a situation, then any government, be it ours or someone else’s… The government can instruct to close any social media platforms and accounts which are spreading arson and hysteria. Else he has to follow the law of the land.”
‘Dorsey is lying…’
Amit Malviya said, as far as there is talk of shutting down Twitter, raiding them or arresting their employees… nothing like that has happened. These are all factual statements, Dorsey is lying. His lies were caught by America, England and naturally questions arise on the timing of his statement.
Asked questions about Rahul Gandhi
He said that when Rahul Gandhi goes to America and meets many such groups, they mobilize against India and work to weaken India from time to time. Rahul Gandhi meets such people whose details of meeting are not in public. In such a situation, it raises the question that this statement of Jack Dorsey is a part of the tool kit of Congress? He asked whether the Congress is going to use similar foreign forces in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
Amil Malviya called it a global political conspiracy against the people of India. He said whether the Congress is trying to remove the democratically elected government on the basis of these foreign forces? We saw this during the farmer’s movement and CAA demonstrations.
Jack Dorsey has claimed that during the farmer’s movement, the Government of India had pressurized Twitter to suspend the accounts of those who criticized it.
