Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023: Assembly elections are going to be held in Rajasthan this year. Regarding this, local parties including BJP and Congress are also trying hard in their area. In the meantime, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given a big statement regarding the most popular Indian Tribal Party in the tribal area. He said in a speech in the meeting held in Dungarpur tribal area of Udaipur division that he talked about the future of BTP i.e. Indian Tribal Party. Now he should join Congress. Discussions are on in full swing on his saying so. Apart from praising his plans in his address, he also made many attacks on BJP.
‘What is the existence of BTP in tribal area’
The Indian Tribal Party is in the Tribal Area of Gujarat and the Tribal Area of Udaipur Division. It has two MLAs in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. It is discussed that earlier the Indian Tribal Party used to have a lot of dominance in the tribal area, but now the tribal society has announced to form a new party. After this the existence of BTP is coming in danger. However, BTP office bearers have claimed to field candidates in the assembly constituency of the state and contest the elections.
There are discussions among the local people that a big example of the existence of BTP is also that two MLAs of the Indian Tribal Party have now distanced themselves from BTP. In such a situation, now a new party to be formed from the tribal society is rising up. An example of this is that even in the student union elections held a few months ago, the student leader of the party fielded by the tribal community made an edge by defeating the ABVP of the BJP and the NSUI wing of the Congress.
‘BTP should merge with Congress’
During the meeting in Dungarpur district, CM Ashok Gehlot said that 2 MLAs of your BTP supported us during the crisis, I accept this. I explained to them where is the future of your party. BTP’s national leader Chhotu Bhai himself lost the election in Gujarat. They should understand that the ideology of the Congress is the ideology of the country. They should be merged with Congress. Attacking BJP, he said that BJP is working to break it. Where there is no BJP government, the agencies of the Center are being used and efforts are being made to topple the government.
