Delhi News: Keeping in view the convenience of the common people of Delhi, PWD Minister Atishi had given directions to the departmental officers to improve the cleanliness, beautification, lighting and other arrangements of Delhi’s subway. After the order of the PWD minister, the changing picture of these subways is now visible on the ground. With this, it will be very convenient for the common people to connect from one road to another. After completion of the work in stipulated time, the PWD minister also congratulated the departmental officers and employees. He said that in order to improve the basic facilities of Delhi, we have to complete our project work within the stipulated time while being ready in the same way.
Delhi’s PWD minister Atishi gave an ultimatum of one month to the officials to complete the survey work. The works of five subways of Delhi have been completed in the stipulated time. This information has been given by Delhi’s PWD minister Atishi herself. The completed works include the subway located at Nehru Place, due to which the shopkeepers around there will get a lot of relief in commuting. The subway at Lajpat Nagar has also been completely renovated, in which convex mirrors have also been installed along with the deployment of security guards. Apart from this, the subways of Andrews Ganj and Lajpat Nagar metro stations have also been repaired. Now from here, metro passengers and people going for their daily work will be of great help. Apart from this, there was a complaint of broken lights and cleanliness of a subway at Masjid Moth in Greater Kailash. Now the route passing through here has been made very attractive.
Steps taken for security
Delhi’s PWD Minister Atishi did a ground inspection of these subways. Departmental officers were also present with him during the inspection. On this occasion, he said that the improvement of these subways will directly benefit the common people. Even the people passing through here every day had to face a lot of problems. Along with cleanliness, lighting and beautification, security guards will be deployed for security and convex mirrors have also been installed. In the coming times, our efforts will continue to improve the basic facilities of Delhi.
