Meanwhile, on Sunday (July 09), one of the pandas of the temple, Brahmanand Sharma started insisting on taking one of his devotees inside the Omkareshwar temple for darshan. When Pandey was denied VIP darshan by the temple administration, he started trying to create chaos in the premises by blocking the way of the devotees.
Seeing this, started fighting with him in the temple premises itself.
Meanwhile, the Punasa SDM, who was looking after the arrangements in the temple, asked him to leave the premises. On this point of the administrative officer, Panda Brahmanand Sharma reached the SDM with a crowd of Pandits and started fighting with him in the temple premises itself. Meanwhile, there was chaos among the devotees and for some time all arrangements including darshan came to a standstill. However, the temple administration and the police immediately seized the opportunity and put the arrangements back in order.

Here Mandhata police station in-charge Baljit Singh told Bisen that when the SDM was standing in the temple premises for his official work. A person named Brahmanand Sharma argued with the SDM and said why did you drive my boy away. After that he started fighting with the SDM. On the basis of the application, we registered a case against Brahmanand Sharma for assaulting the SDM and obstructing official work.
Case registered under section 188
At the same time, by registering a case against his son under section 188, a case was also registered for violating the banned section 144. Significantly, at this time the holy month of Shravan is going on and in such a situation huge crowd of devotees of Baba Mahakal is being seen in all the major temples.
