Firing in Pakistan’s Lahore sessions court, two people killed, attacker arrested


Pakistan Shooting: The incident of firing has come to light in a Pakistani court. In which two people including a woman have died. According to the report of ARY News, this incident took place on Thursday (July 13) in the Lahore Sessions Court.

According to the report, two people who reached the Lahore Sessions Court for the hearing were shot dead by the rival side. After which the police caught the attackers on the spot itself. Regarding the incident, the police said that two people, including a woman, were allegedly shot dead by armed men in the premises of a local court in Lahore on Thursday. Due to which he died immediately.

According to a statement issued by the Punjab Police, the victims were present in the court for a case hearing when they were attacked by armed assailants. The motive of the murder is not yet known. Police claimed that the alleged criminals surrendered themselves after the crime. The weapons used in the incident have been recovered. Police are currently interrogating the assailants to ascertain any possible connections or associates involved in the incident.

Such incidents have happened before

The incident of murder in the court premises of Pakistan is not a new thing. Earlier this year, there was an incident in the bar room of the Peshawar High Court (PHC), where former president of the Supreme Court Bar Association and senior advocate Latif Afridi was gunned down, resulting in his death. In this incident too, the attacker was caught immediately. Although this incident shook the whole of Pakistan.

In the same month, another incident came to light at the gate of Karachi City Court. In which a 19-year-old girl was shot dead by her father for marrying of her own free will.
