Haryana BJP: The impact of the clash between the Gujjar and Rajput communities over the unveiling of Mihir Bhoj’s statue is also visible on the Haryana BJP. All the Rajput leaders of BJP in Kaithal have sent their resignations to the party and said that till they do not get an explanation as to why their people were lathicharged, they have no relation with BJP.
BJP Kisan Morcha leader Sanjeev Rana said, “Our people spoke peacefully, our protest was peaceful, but intentionally the administration got lathicharged to mislead and divert the movement. Many of our youths have suffered injuries. What crime did our society commit.”
Sanjeev Rana said, he was the leader of 36 fraternities
He said that a great man, who was an emperor who took 36 fraternities along, is it a crime to write him as a Hindu emperor. If this is a crime, we will do it again and again because he was a Hindu, is a Hindu and will remain a Hindu. He claimed that he did not belong to any one fraternity, he was the leader of 36 fraternities, so we talked about writing Hindu emperor. We said don’t write Rajput, don’t write Gurjar, don’t divide in caste and write Hindu emperor, but objected to that too. This means that they are thinking of themselves as surveyors.
He said that until the clarification is not received from Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on our point, we will remain adamant on this. He said, “Why our people were lathicharged, did they commit a crime? All the leaders and office bearers associated with BJP in Kaithal have resigned from the party. Until we get an explanation on this, we have no connection with BJP.”
Sanjeev Rana said, Rajput society of the whole country is against it.
Sanjeev Rana told that he has sent resignation to Honorable State President Om Prakash Dhankhar and Ved Prakash ji. At the same time, he also claimed, “Our entire society has resigned. In this way, our society will resign in other districts and states as well. The Rajput society of the whole country is against it today and has taken to the streets to fight for its rights and will continue to do so.”
