Khandwa News: In the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga temple of Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh, once again there was a dispute between the devotees and the employee of the temple trust. The dispute was so big that it came to a scuffle. Actually a video is going viral in which a woman is seen beating the employee of the temple trust. It is being told that the employee of the temple trust engaged in crowd control was beaten up by a family from Maharashtra who came to visit. The employee has complained about this in the police station. At present, the Mandhata police station is investigating the entire matter.
The number of devotees coming to Omkareshwar is continuously increasing. But due to lack of space in the sanctum sanctorum and temple premises of Omkareshwar temple, the devotees have to face difficulties. Due to this many times a situation of debate is being created between the pilgrims and the security personnel of the temple trust. On Sunday (May 14) also, a security guard was beaten up by pilgrims during darshan. Pilgrims said that the security guard manhandled an old lady who had come with us for darshan.
Passengers assaulted the employee of the temple trust
On the other hand, Ashok Mahajan, CEO of the temple management of the temple trust, says that it is unfortunate that the employee of the temple trust was assaulted by the pilgrims in the temple premises. Care will be taken that such incidents do not recur in future. Due to this incident there is resentment among the temple trust employees and priests. Mandhata police station in-charge Baljit Singh Bisen told that a complaint has been registered against the employee of the temple trust in the temple premises. The whole matter is being investigated, action will be taken against whoever is guilty.
There were allegations of taking darshan
Some time ago also there was a dispute about visiting the temple, in which a fight also took place. Even then the temple management was accused of taking money for darshan. Please inform that a 108 feet tall statue of Adi Guru Shankaracharya is being installed in Omkareshwar. Which has been named as the Statue of Oneness. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh saw the work being done here last week. After the completion of the statue here, the number of devotees and tourists will increase. In such a situation, the pressure on the temple administration to have darshan with more security and ease will increase.
