Pakistan: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif addressed the meeting of the National Security Committee on Tuesday. During this, the PM said that some gruesome incidents took place on May 9, which have embarrassed Pakistan. Also, these incidents worked to defame Pakistan. Army Chief General Asim Munir, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Chairman General Sahir Shamshad Mirza were present in the meeting.
Shahbaz Sharif said that May 9 will be remembered as the darkest chapter in the history of the country. On Tuesday, the PM once again took a pledge that the planners and leaders who indulge in arson and sabotage in the country will not be spared. Those who attacked military establishments, those who insulted our martyrs will be punished.
Jinnah House not just a building: PM
Shahbaz Sharif said during the meeting that we all are forced to think which ideology, group or person is responsible for setting Pakistan on fire. He further said that Jinnah House is not just a building. In this, the sons who protect Pakistan have been kept. He destroyed it. The haters of Pakistan have actually reduced it to ashes.
What the enemy could not do, has been done: PM
The PM called for chalking out legal, constitutional and administrative measures to prevent a repetition of the events of 9 May. He once again said that the violent protests of May 9 had seriously harmed Pakistan. Due to this there is tremendous resentment among the people.
He further said that I believe that this meeting shows solidarity with the Pakistani Army. Shahbaz Sharif said that whoever planned to burn the country and instigated sabotage, they are definitely guilty of terrorism. He did something on May 9, which the enemy could not do in the last 75 years.
