The UK government is planning to recruit hundred teachers for these subjects under the International Relocation Payments (IRP) scheme. The scheme is a foreign operation paying more than Rs 10 lakh to transfer and fill vacancies in England.
The Times newspaper reports that hundreds of maths, science and language teachers will be brought to the UK this year from countries like India and Nigeria. There is a plan to expand the recruitment schemes in other subjects as well. Paul Whiteman, general secretary of the UK’s National Association of Head Teachers, told The Times that overseas recruitment is a good solution.

The Education Department said in a statement that in March, training of more than 400 teachers from all over the world has been started. He said that it is good for the future of the children. Visa, health or other expenses for foreign teachers in the UK are covered under International Relocation Payments (IRP).
