At the behest of relative, woman wanted to get discount on food order, but this game happened

If people are telling you something, then listen to it and use your mind and then take some action. Close your eyes and believe in the words of the other person, how costly it can prove to be, just read that. In fact, a woman named Savita Sharma, living in the South area of Delhi, was told by her relative about the buy-one-get-one free food order being received on Facebook. To take advantage of this order, the woman went to Facebook and clicked on the existing link and was redirected to the website.

Savita Sharma then called the number on the website to get more information about the order. For a long time the woman tried the number but it did not work. Then after some time the woman got a call back in which the person in front told her about the offer she was getting and asked her to download an app so that she could grab the special offer at Sagar Ratna restaurant. Because the person in front took the name of the famous Sagar Ratna restaurant, the woman felt that it is not a fraud and everything is real. Let us tell you, Sagar Ratna is a famous South Indian brand which is popular for South Indian food.

Considered silently on certain things

The person in front also shared an ID-Password to the woman so that she could login to the app. After downloading the app, the woman did exactly what was told on the call. Within no time, a message came from the woman’s account that first Rs 40,000 and then Rs 50,000 would be deducted. The scammer first added money from the woman’s credit card to Paytm and then transferred it to his account. Savita told in the police report that she had not shared such details with the person and did not know how he siphoned off the money from the account. Actually, what happened was that the app that the person had asked to download was a malware which had taken control of the woman’s mobile.

Don’t make this mistake

We have said this through many news that never trust any unknown website or app. Always order things or do any work from trusted places only. Do not share your personal details with anyone under any circumstances and if someone forces you to do so, then immediately report it to the police. Only by being alert and careful can you save your data and money in the online age.
