A delegation of NCP has requested police intervention in the matter related to two websites, Indic Tales and Hindu Post.

NCP delegation met the police commissioner
Today a delegation including Ajit Pawar, Jayant Patil, Chhagan Bhujbal and Sunil Tatkare met Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar. Chhagan Bhujbal has already written a letter to the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister urging action on this issue. Ajit Pawar attacked the state government while talking to the media after this meeting. Also asked about the condition of Maharashtra Sadan.

Chhagan Bhujbal said that the attempt to defame Savitribai Phule is derogatory, painful and highly condemnable. “In the guise of revising history, the portal is actually destroying history. This anti-social tendency should be crushed.” He stressed that the state government should take this matter seriously and ban the websites.

What did Ajit Pawar say?
Ajit Pawar said, action should be taken against Indic Tales and Hindu Post websites for insulting Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule. Let me tell you, in this regard today the NCP delegation has demanded action through a letter to Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar. Ajit Pawar further said, ‘I have been saying from the beginning that in recent times, the number of people making absurd statements about great men has increased continuously.’
