The same increase has been made for pensioners.
Uttar Pradesh DA hike
During the month of May, the UP government had decided to increase DA and DR by 4 percent. Government employees and pensioners will get the benefit of this increase. After this increase, employees will get 42 percent DA and pensioners will get 42 percent DR.
Dearness Allowance hiked in Tamil Nadu
Under the Seventh Pay Commission, the Tamil Nadu government had announced an increase in DA by 4 percent. This increase is effective from 1 April 2023. This increase has been increased from 38 percent to 42 percent.
Haryana government increased dearness allowance
The Haryana government had announced an increase in DA during April. Here the DA of the employees was increased by 4 percent. Salary will be given after calculating under the 7th Pay Commission. Here the DA is 42 percent, which is effective from January 1, 2023.
Dearness allowance increased in Himachal Pradesh and Jharkhand
The Jharkhand government had announced an increase in DA by 8 percent in April. It has been increased from 34 percent to 42 percent. At the same time, the Himachal Pradesh government had increased the dearness allowance by 3 percent, which is now 34 percent. Both these hikes are effective from January 1, 2023.
