Indian-Origin Man Jailed in UK: A person of Indian origin has been sentenced to 3 years in jail in the United Kingdom. The name of the person is Jaspal Singh Jutla, who is 64 years old. London’s Isleworth Crown Court sentenced him to the crime of fraud in the name of helping him buy property in Britain.
Scotland Yard reported that 64-year-old Jaspal Singh Jutla had cheated about 16,000 pounds. And, the people whom he trapped in his trap, they are also mostly people of Indian origin. Giving information, Scotland Yard said that the fraud was carried out between May 2019 and January 2021. After that, when the matter reached before the Metropolitan Police, the investigation was started. The accused is said to have confessed to his crime in an earlier hearing at Uxbridge Magistrate Court in August last year. Now on Thursday, the Isleworth Crown Court of London has sentenced the accused to three years imprisonment.
Lakhs were cheated from people by posing as loan advisors
The Metropolitan Police has issued a statement in this regard. It was said in the statement that Jaspal Singh Jutla has been sentenced by the representation for the crime of 4 cases of cheating and selling the property even after not being authorized to sell it. The statement said he had duped 4 people of £15,970 by posing as a loan advisor. If this amount is calculated in Indian currency then it is Rs 16,33,951.39.
