Indira Gandhi Killing In Exhibition: Khalistan supporters have taken out a parade in Canada. It depicts the assassination of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh has condemned the incident, calling it a heinous act. Along with this, he has demanded Foreign Minister S Jaishankar to take up this matter with the Canadian government.
In Brampton city of Canada, a 5 km long parade was taken out giving the assassination of Indira Gandhi the form of an exhibition. The video of this parade has been shared by Congress leader Milind Deora. The effigy of Indira Gandhi is shown in this video. An attempt has been made to recreate the scene of Indira Gandhi’s assassination by dressing this effigy in a saree stained with blood. Along with this, two Sikh bodyguards who killed Indira Gandhi have also been shown. ABP News does not confirm the veracity of this video.
Deora said – surprised to see the parade
Milind Deora wrote with this video, “As an Indian, I am shocked by the 5 km long parade in the Canadian city of Brampton, which depicts the assassination of Indira Gandhi. This is not about taking sides It is about respect for a country’s history and the pain caused by the assassination of its prime minister. This extremism needs universal condemnation and a united response.
Jairam Ramesh said – disgusting act
Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has also condemned this incident. Retweeting Milind Deora’s post, Congress General Secretary wrote, I completely agree. This is disgusting and External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar should take up this matter with the Canadian authorities.
