‘Kharge must have wanted to please his bosses’, Dharmendra Pradhan’s rebuttal on poisonous snake statement


Karnataka Assembly Election 2023: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s PM Narendra Modi But after the controversy arising out of the poisonous snake remark, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday (April 27) targeted the Gandhi family and said that he (Kharge) did it to please his political masters.

BJP’s in-charge for Karnataka assembly elections and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that BJP did not expect such unparliamentary and undesirable comments from a senior and experienced leader like Kharge. Pradhan said that Modi has always given a lot of respect to Kharge personally and publicly. He claimed, he must be under some compulsion. He must have made such a statement to please his political masters.

This is not the first time there has been a comment on PM
Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan alleged that for more than two decades, it has been the tradition of the Congress to target Modi personally with objectionable remarks. This is not happening for the first time when such personal attacks have been made on the PM. Citing the example of former Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, the PM said, earlier Sonia has given statements like ‘maut ka saudagar’ and ‘khoon ki dalali’.

What did Mallikarjun Kharge say about PM
While addressing a public meeting at Ron in Gadag district in Karnataka on Thursday, Kharge said, don’t make a mistake. Modi is like a poisonous snake. If you say that they are not poisonous, then touch and see, you will know. If you touch you will die. However, after the statement sparked controversy, the Congress president said that his remarks were not for the Prime Minister but for the ruling BJP.
