Ukraine’s Defense Ministry said in a statement that Ukrainian air defense systems shot down 21 of the 23 Russian missiles, including two more drones. Giving Russia the tag of a terrorist country, Ukraine told that they had dropped the bomb from the TU-95 drone.
It is necessary to impose international sanctions on Russia – Zelensky
Russia carried out continuous airstrikes on Ukraine on 28 April, in which about 12 people of Ukraine lost their lives. Russia attacked a building in Uman, the central city of Ukraine. Apart from 10 people, two children also died in this. At the same time, a woman and her three-year-old girl were killed in the attack on the city of Nipro.
Apart from these two cities, Russia also attacked Kremenchuk and Poltava. After the attack on Ukraine, President Zelensky said that a child died in the attack on the 10-storey building, while 11 people had to be admitted to the hospital. Condemning the attack, Ukrainian President Zelensky said that it is necessary to create international pressure on Russia.
Zelensky said that the devils can be stopped on the basis of weapons and our soldiers are doing the same. Apart from this, it is also necessary to impose other types of international sanctions on Russia.
Russia launched a missile attack on the capital city of Kiev
The head of the military administration of Kiev city said that for the first time in 51 days, Russia has launched a missile attack in the capital city of Kiev. However, no civilian casualty has been reported in the missile attack on the capital from Russia. A video posted on Telegram by the State Border of Ukraine shows a badly damaged apartment building in Uman after the attacks.
The attacks come as the Ukrainian army prepares for a military offensive with new equipment, including tanks supplied by Western allies. Russia has been continuously attacking Ukraine in the last 10 months to control Bakhmut. Bakhmut is considered to be an important area from the point of view of war.
