News Agency ANI Twitter Locked: The Twitter account of India’s largest news agency ANI has been blocked by the company. This information has been given by ANI editor Smita Prakash through a tweet. ANI has 7.6 million followers on Twitter and is the most followed news agency Twitter handle in India. Actually, while blocking ANI’s account, Twitter gave the reason that ANI’s account comes under age restrictions and it is younger than 13 years.
For the time being, new updates of the country and abroad will be available like this.
After the main Twitter handle of ANI was blocked, Smita Prakash informed in a tweet that till the time ANI’s account is not recovered, people will be updated about all the activities happening in the country and abroad through ‘ANI Digital’ and ‘Ehindinews’. Can be found through Twitter handle. Apart from ANI, NDTV’s Twitter account has also been blocked from the platform. It may take 24 hours or more for the account to be restored. To restore, ANI will have to send all the information to Twitter. ANI editor Smita Prakash said that before blocking ANI’s Twitter account, Elon Musk’s company had removed the gold check mark from ANI’s account and given it to Blue Tick Company instead. Now Twitter has closed the account.
