Nicholas Pooran and Arshdeep Singh: Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) were face to face in the IPL on Friday (April 28) night. Before this match, LSG’s wicket-keeper batsman Nicholas Pooran had made a deal with Punjab Kings fast bowler Arshdeep. Under this deal, Puran was going to get a treat of Dal Makhani from Arshdeep. But a condition was placed for this treat. Arshdeep had told Puran that if Puran did not hit sixes on his balls, he would feed him Dal Makhani. However, after the match, the way Punjab Kings lost, Puran gave a funny reaction to this deal.
Batting first in this match, Lucknow scored 257 runs against Punjab. Here Puran played an inning of 45 runs off 19 balls. When Lucknow won the match by 56 runs, Pooran was asked on Geo Cinema whether he would now get the treat of Dal Makhani? On this Puran took a jibe at Arshdeep. Puran said, ‘It seems that now I will have to call Dal Makhani in my room itself, because he (Arshdeep) is not going to buy anything for me now.’ Puran had said this because Arshdeep had given away 54 runs in four overs in this match. Pooran also hit Arshdeep for four fours.
Before the match, a funny video of this deal was posted from the Twitter handle of Lucknow Super Giants. In this, Puran is seen saying that Arshdeep, you will feed us Dal Makhani. On this, Arshdeep had said that if he does not hit his ball for a six, then he will surely feed him Dal Makhani. Apart from this deal, Indian players of Lucknow Super Giants are also seen enjoying a lot with Nicholas Pooran.
