Adani group reacted to SEBI’s application filed in the Supreme Court, said this


Adani Group: Adani Group has been in the news since January. Market regulator SEBI had also approached the country’s Supreme Court amid various allegations and counter-allegations since the Hindenburg Research report and has recently asked for another six months to investigate the matter.

Now on the same matter, a spokesperson of the Adani group said that SEBI is investigating many other facts apart from the allegations leveled against the Adani group by a foreign short-seller on January 25, 2023. In this, the market activities before and after the date of release of this report are also being investigated. Adani Group is fully cooperating with SEBI for this detailed investigation.

Cooperating in the investigation – Adani Group

The Adani group has also said that SEBI’s application filed before the Supreme Court has not concluded any alleged wrongdoing. Sebi’s application only referred to the allegations made in the short-seller’s report, which are still under investigation. Adani has said in his statement that we would request the media to avoid unnecessary speculation at this time. Wait for the expert committee appointed by SEBI and the Supreme Court to complete their work and present their results.
