Level-1: If a player or team official commits a lower category (Level-1) offense for the first time, he is either let off with a warning or reprimanded, or is fined 50% of his match fee. is cut off. If a person violates the rules mentioned in Level-1 for the third time, then he may have to face a ban of 2 to 8 matches. Level-2: Moderate mistakes are mentioned in this category, which were committed by Kohli and Gambhir in the Lucknow-Bangalore match. Once the rules mentioned in this category are violated, 50-100% of the match fee can be deducted directly or a ban of up to two matches can be imposed. Violating these rules twice can result in a ban of two to eight matches. There is a provision of ban from 8 matches to one year for repeating the mistake for the third time. At the same time, breaking the rules of this level more than three times can lead to a ban on playing IPL for one to five years.
Level-3: In this category, other crimes ranging from scuffle-like situations are mentioned. The player can be directly banned for 4 to 8 matches only after committing this category of offense for the first time. If this type of mistake happens for the second time, then a ban ranging from 8 matches to one year can be imposed.
