Rebels increasing every day in SP, after MP and 2 MLAs, now former minister started protest

UP Municipal Corporation Election 2023: The first phase of voting for the civic elections in Uttar Pradesh is going to be held on May 4. Tuesday is the last day of campaigning before voting. But the number of angry leaders in Samajwadi Party is continuously increasing. After the MPs and MLAs of the party, now the former minister has also started opposing his candidate and seeking the support of the independent candidate.

SP MP Dr. Shafiqur Rahman Barq and his son Kundarki MLA Ziaur Rahman Barq have distanced themselves from the party’s candidate in the civic elections. Both of them are contesting as independent candidates. Apart from this, Ziauddin Rizvi, MLA from Sikandarpur in Ballia, is also angry with the party. He has fielded Bhishma Yadav as an independent against SP candidate Dinesh Chowdhary. But now the name of the former minister has also been included in the list of angry leaders.

support given to independent
Now former minister Narad Rai is becoming a rebel. He has also supported the independent by not supporting the SP candidate. If sources are to be believed, he has supported independent candidate Sanjay Upadhyay. While the front has been opened against SP’s candidate Laxnan Gupta. Earlier, Iqbal Mehmood’s wife Rukhsana Iqbal has been fielded for the post of Sambhal Municipal Council President.

There has been a long-standing dispute between former MLA Iqbal and MP Shafiqur Rahman Burke. Because of this MP Burke has fielded Farhana Yasin as an independent candidate against the party candidate. He clearly says that the top leadership did not take his opinion while giving ticket, so he is contesting his candidate. Apart from this, apart from Bareilly, Hapur, Barabanki, there is displeasure in SP in many places in western UP.
