Karnataka Elections 2023: Congress has promised to ban Bajrang Dal in its manifesto if it comes to power. Due to this the leaders of Bajrang Dal have put up warning posters for Congress outside their houses. Such posters were seen in several houses in Chikkamagaluru district, which had Bajrang Dal flags on their buildings. The poster warned Congress leaders and workers not to enter these houses to seek votes for the May 10 assembly elections.
It is written on the poster, “This is the house of a Bajrang Dal worker. No Congressman should come inside to ask for votes. Despite this, if you try to enter, the dogs will be thrown out.” In its election manifesto, the Congress had said that after coming to power, the party would take decisive action as per the law, including banning organizations like Bajrang Dal and PFI.

The Congress had also alleged that Bajrang Dal was working to promote enmity between communities. The party said that the law and the constitution are sacred and individuals and organizations like Bajrang Dal, PFI or others should not be allowed to violate it. They are promoting enmity or hatred between the majority and minority communities. Congress will take action as per law including banning them.
BJP said ‘insult’ to Lord Hanuman
At the same time, while targeting the Congress, the ruling BJP (BJP) said that the promise to ban Bajrang Dal if voted to power in Karnataka is an ‘insult’ to Lord Hanuman and an attempt to ‘save’ the banned Popular Front of India. even the prime minister Narendra Modi also targeted the Congress for its promise to ban Bajrang Dal.
He said that the history and thinking of the Congress should never be forgotten by the people of Karnataka. The history of Congress has been of terror and appeasement of terrorists.
