100 percent increase in terrorist attacks in tribal areas of Pakistan, revealed in the report


Pakistan Terrorist Attack Report: Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS) has released a report. He has mentioned about the terrorist incidents in the month of April this year in the report. According to the report, there has been a slight increase in the number of terrorist incidents. There were 48 terrorist attacks in the last month of April, in which 68 died and 55 were injured.

There were 39 terrorist attacks in Pakistan in the month of March in which 58 died and 73 were injured. Terrorist attacks increased by 23 percent during this period. These include 17 per cent deaths and a 25 per cent reduction in the number of injured people. There has been a 35 percent increase in the deaths of police forces in terrorist attacks in Pakistan.

Security forces conducted operations against terrorist groups

However, the report also claimed that the security forces have successfully carried out their operations against terrorist groups. During this, he killed at least 41 terrorists and arrested 40. Pakistan’s security forces mainly focused their efforts on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province. He killed 30 terrorists and arrested 14 here.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province accounted for 49 per cent of the total terrorist attacks reported during this month. During this period, militants carried out 33 attacks in which 45 people including 23 security forces personnel, 17 militants and five civilians were killed.

1400 suspected militants arrested

Areas inside Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province reported 19 terrorist attacks, while tribal districts of KP (East FATA) reported 14 terrorist attacks. The most shocking thing is that there has been a 100 percent increase in terrorist attacks in tribal districts. The Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies PICSS registered seven cases related to terrorist attacks in tribal districts in March.

According to the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces conducted around 70 intelligence-based operations daily. During the first four months of the year, they arrested nearly 1,400 suspected militants and killed over 188.
