Lineman electrocuted in Umaria, officers shocked, air ambulance sent to Delhi for treatment


Umaria News: A lineman was seriously injured after being electrocuted by Madhya Pradesh East Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company (MPPKVVCL) in Umaria district. After this accident, the officers lost their senses. In a hurry, the injured lineman has been immediately sent to Delhi by air ambulance for better treatment. After treatment by the doctors, due to increasing infection in the injured lineman Anil Dipankar’s body, it was immediately advised to shift to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi.

After the advice of the doctors, the MD of the Electricity Distribution Company. Anay Dwivedi had instructed to immediately send the injured lineman along with two family members to Delhi by air ambulance. Perhaps this will be the first time in the company’s history that the facility of air ambulance has been provided by the company to save the life of an injured line staff.

Infection started spreading in the body due to electrocution

Please tell that Anil Dipankar, working as a lineman at Bharewa distribution center in Umaria district, was seriously injured due to electrocution during work. Those who were admitted to Katni Hospital for treatment, where after giving first aid, they were referred to Jabalpur. Seeing the seriousness of the increasing infection in the body of the injured lineman after treatment, doctors were advised to send him to Delhi. On the request of the local authorities of Umaria, the company sent the injured linemen to Delhi by air ambulance.

In this matter, taking prompt action by the company officials, air ambulance was arranged by obtaining all the necessary approvals within a period of just one day. The role of Umaria Chief Engineer Shibu Samuel, Executive Engineer Abhishek Kumar, Joint Director Finance Vikram Bhaskar, Rajesh Patel as well as Accountant Anand Nayak at the company headquarters was commendable in completing this entire operation with better coordination.
