Mumbai crime: A shocking case has come to light from Mumbai. Giving information, Assistant Police Inspector of Samta Nagar Police Station Amol Bhagat said that a 78-year-old senior citizen woman living in Bhoomi Arcade Society under the police station area is suffering from a serious illness, due to which the family members have taken care of her as a caretaker. But a 26-year-old woman was hired. On April 28, the family members had gone out, taking advantage of which the caretaker ran away with the gold ornaments kept in the safe of the flat.

According to the information received from the family members, when he returned home on May 2, the caretaker woman was not coming to work. After this, the family members noticed that the ornaments kept in the vault were missing. The suspicion of the family members first went to the other servants working in the flat, but after questioning them, it became clear that the caretaker woman was not coming since the gold ornaments went missing, after which a report was lodged with the police.

Police team solved the mystery in 12 hours
As soon as the case was registered, Bhagat and his team started tracing the mobile location of the caretaker woman and through this they reached her. After which she was strictly questioned, the woman confessed her crime. When the police asked the woman thief about the gold ornaments, she told that she had mortgaged the gold ornaments to a goldsmith. The police have seized the jewelry from the goldsmith and are probing further. Samta Nagar Police has seized about 260 grams of gold ornaments, the total value of which is said to be around 12.5 lakhs. The police team solved the mystery of theft in just 12 hours.
