Pakistan Army Deployment: There has been a ruckus in the neighboring country Pakistan since the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Violence and arson are happening everywhere. It looks like a civil war has broken out in Pakistan. To bring the situation under control, the biggest state there has been handed over to the Punjab Army. There is news that the Pakistan Army has been summoned in all the provinces of Pakistan.
It is being told that in the late evening the army will be deployed at sensitive places across Pakistan. Today on Wednesday (May 10) afternoon, the army was deployed here in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. Among these, Punjab is the largest province of Pakistan in terms of population. It has 36 districts. Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, is not far from here. The total army of Pakistan is 6.5 lakh. Out of which more than half of the army can be deployed.
Number-2 and number-3 leader in PTI also arrested
Supporters of Imran-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party are demonstrating on a large scale in all major cities including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Lahore etc. They are angry with Imran’s arrest.
On the other hand, Pakistan police is busy in arresting Imran’s supporters. Till now more than 1 thousand PTI workers-leaders have been arrested. The government ordered that Imran’s associate leaders Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Khurram Nawaz, Ali Awan, Amir Mughal should also be arrested. After which former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi number two in PTI and number three Asad Umar have also been arrested.
Yesterday i.e. on the evening of May 9 itself, Imran Khan was arrested in the Al-Qadir Trust scam case. Pakistani Rangers made this arrest on the orders of NAB (National Accountability Bureau).
Imran’s wife Bushra will also be arrested?
According to Pakistan’s newspaper ‘The Dawn’, the Al Qadir Trust scam is worth about 60 billion Pakistani rupees and Imran, wife Bushra Bibi and Bushra’s friend Farah Gogi took advantage of it. In such a situation, the investigating agency has demanded to issue an arrest warrant for Imran Khan’s wife Bushra as well. At the same time, today on May 10, Imran has been handed over to the investigating agency on physical remand for 8 days.
