Imran Khan Arrest: Pakistan’s PM Shehbaz Sharif addressed the country on Wednesday (May 10) regarding the ruckus created after the arrest of Imran Khan. He said that this had never happened in the 75-year history of Pakistan. The patients were taken out of the ambulance and set on fire. Those people did what the real enemy of Pakistan could not do in 75 years. I warn the enemies of the country and terrorists that those who take the law into their hands will be dealt with strictly.
Shahbaz Sharif repeatedly in his address Imran Khan Addressed as Imran Niazi. He said that arrests would have taken place during Imran’s tyrannical regime. In the rule of Imran, there used to be action of revenge. In Imran Niazi’s government, there was no case in four years, the face was seen that who has to be sent to jail. Imran Niazi used to say that if a wicket would fall tomorrow, then that wicket would have fallen.
“We have not refused to face the law”
The PM of Pakistan further said that many opposition leaders were in jail during Imran Niazi’s government. Arrest was done only on making allegations. 15 kg of heroin was put on Rana Sanaullah. We and our comrades are suffering from the muscles of NAB. Not a single one of the allegations leveled against us was proved to be true. Not only from Pakistan but also from Britain, the investigation was done. The UK agency gave us a clean chit. We have never refused to face the law. Always appeared before the law and the court.
“Damaging public-private property is enmity against the people”
Sharif said that damage to government and private property is enmity. Imran Niazi has been arrested in a corruption case. How the case of 60 billion was sealed in an envelope and approved by the cabinet is a serious question. We cannot express happiness over any arrest. This is a difficult moment of life which we have passed. Imran Niazi and PTI have committed the crime of public enmity by damaging government and private property.
Uncontrollable situation in Pakistan
Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan was arrested on Tuesday. After which a ruckus started in many cities of Pakistan. During this, a lot of arson and sabotage was done. There is also news of casualties of many people. The protesters have also targeted the residences of army officers. A Pakistani court on Wednesday convicted Imran Khan in the Toshakhana corruption case.
