Twitter owner Musk tweeted on Friday (May 12), “I look forward to welcoming Linda Yaccarino as Twitter’s new CEO.” Linda will primarily focus on business operations, while I will focus on product design and new technology. Looking forward to working with Linda to transform the platform into an all things app ‘X’.”

Musk told his role
Earlier, Musk had announced in another tweet that he had hired a new CEO for X/Twitter. He told that the new CEO will start work in 6 weeks. According to Musk, his role will be as executive chairman and CTO, overseeing product, software and system operators.
Who is Linda Yacarino?
Linda Yacarino’s name was already running in the race for CEO of Twitter. According to her LinkedIn profile, Yacarino has been working with NBC Universal since 2011. She currently holds the role of Chairperson, Global Advertising and Partnerships. Prior to this, he worked for the cable entertainment and digital advertising sales division of the company.
Yacarino also worked for the Turner Company for 19 years. He studied at Penn State University from 1981 to 1985. He has studied in Liberal Arts and Telecommunications subjects.
