What happened in the High Court during the hearing in the Imran Khan case?


Pakistan: Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan got a big relief from the Islamabad High Court on Friday, the court granted him bail for two weeks in the Al-Qadir Trust case. A day earlier, the Supreme Court had termed the arrest of the PTI leader from the Islamabad High Court premises as illegal and illegal.

A division bench of Justice Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb and Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz heard the PTI chief’s bail plea in court number 2. According to media reports, the hearing initially began after a delay of about two hours, with officials conducting security checks outside the courtroom during the hearing.

The hearing was adjourned soon after it began at 1 pm due to Friday prayers. However, Geo News claimed in its report that Imran supporters shouted slogans. On this, Judge Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb expressed his displeasure and immediately left the courtroom postponing the hearing on Khan’s bail plea.

NAB biased: Imran’s lawyer

Imran Khan stood in the dock during the hearing. Along with this, his lawyer Khwaja Haris presented his arguments before the court. While filing the bail application of Imran Khan, Khwaja Haris said that we have applied for pre-arrest or protective bail. NAB biased.

He said that only one notice was sent to Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case, to which he replied. In response, he wrote that the notice of NAB is not according to NAB law.

Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb told Imran Khan’s lawyer that do you know that the notice is challenged if it is not presented. To which lawyer Khwaja Haris said that we have replied to the notice, we understood that if NAB did not issue the notice again then the matter was over.
