Preparing to digitize Dhanbad Railway Division, paper ticket will be closed soon


Jharkhand News: Till now the railway ticket with which you have been traveling by train is going to be closed now. Actually, Indian Railways is taking rapid steps towards digitization. In this sequence, advance technology has been started in Dhanbad Railway Division. In such a situation, soon the process of ticket booking and cancellation will be started through the online process by discontinuing paper tickets in the entire railway division. Now passengers will be able to book, transfer and cancel tickets themselves. 

Let us tell you that the Railway Board has announced to stop printing tickets from Delhi, Howrah, Chennai, Mumbai and Secunderabad. Under this, orders have been given to close the ticket printing presses at all the stations. In this sequence, preparations are being made to make Dhanbad Railway Division digital. Paper tickets in Dhanbad will also be discontinued soon. While giving information in Dhanbad Railway Division, Senior DCM Amresh Kumar said that the tickets available in the Railways are being digitized. Orders have been issued in this regard by the Ministry of Railways and orders have also been given to close the ticket printing presses where railway tickets were printed.

UTS app ready for general compartment passengers
Senior DCM said that a separate UTS app has been prepared for the passengers traveling in the general compartment of the train. Through this app, people within a radius of five kilometers around the station can book tickets from their mobiles. Apart from this, ATVM machines have also been installed at the station, through which booking of general compartment tickets can be done. Through this app, passengers will now be able to get rid of the hassle of standing in queues and crowds.
