According to media reports, the incident took place in a strip mall located in the US city of Texas, where 22-year-old Harold Thompson shot and killed his 26-year-old girlfriend Gabriela Gonzalez in the parking lot. Harold Thompson was arrested by the police soon after the incident. According to media reports, there was an argument between the two for hours regarding abortion. After this the young man did this incident. 

The youth confessed to the crime 

According to the police, the girl died on the spot after being shot. According to a CNN report, the youth has also confessed to his crime. He told the police in his statement that he did not want his girlfriend to have an abortion. Despite this, the girl got an abortion, which enraged him.

Incident captured in CCTV 

According to the police, the video of the murder has been captured in the CCTV camera installed in the parking lot of the mall, in which it can be seen that the young man is arguing with his girlfriend while sitting in the car. Then suddenly he takes out the gun and shoots the girl in the head. Although the girl tries to run away after being shot, but even after this the young man fires, killing the girl on the spot. 

According to the police, Gonzalez’s sister was also present a short distance away from the scene. He had heard the sound of firing. Be aware that in Texas, abortion is illegal after about six weeks unless there is a medical emergency. 

According to the police officials, the killer youth was of eccentric type. He used to get angry on small things. In March, he had also assaulted the woman’s family member. According to the report, Thompson had assaulted Gonzalez several times before.
