He has set a record of reaching the world’s highest peak Mount Everest for the 27th time. Kami Rita has done this feat on Wednesday (May 17). In this way, Sherpa holds the record for reaching Mount Everest for the maximum number of times.

Kami Rita Sherpa successfully reached the summit of the world’s highest mountain on Wednesday morning while guiding a Vietnamese expedition team. This information was given by the organizer of the expedition, Migma Sherpa of Seven Summit Tracks. It may be known that just on Sunday (May 4) a mountaineer made a record by climbing the world’s highest mountain peak for the 26th time. Kami Rita Sherpa broke it just after two days.

Record was made in 2018 itself

Let us inform that 53-year-old Kami Rita Sherpa had completed the ascent of Everest for the 22nd time in 2018 itself, since then this record has been recorded in her name, but on Sunday another climber Pasang Dawa Sherpa (46) reached the peak for the 26th time. The record was named after him.

Kami Rita Sherpa first climbed the 8,848-metre summit in 1994 while working for a commercial expedition.
