Weather Today Updates: The weather is constantly changing in the country. Sometimes it is raining and sometimes it is very hot. In many parts of the country including the national capital, the temperature is being recorded at 40 degree Celsius. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has released a new update. According to IMD, on Thursday (May 18), there is an alert for rain in many states along with Delhi. It may rain in Rajasthan, Delhi, Bihar.
According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in Haryana’s Karnal, Assandh, Safidon, Jind, Panipat, Ganaur, Meham, Sonipat, Rohtak, Kharkhoda, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Mattanhel, Kosli, Rewari. An alert has also been issued regarding rain in Rajasthan. There is a possibility of light rain at some places in Jaipur, Dausa, Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli districts and surrounding areas.

Rain alert in some areas
The weather in UP is also taking a turn continuously. There is an alert for rain in some areas of the state, while in some areas the heat is oppressing. According to the information received from the department, there is a possibility of severe heat accompanied by strong sunlight in the areas of Agra, Meerut, Kanpur, Varanasi and Gorakhpur. There are chances of rain in Noida and its surrounding areas. Heavy rains may occur over parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim, Karnataka, Nagaland and Kerala. In Bihar too, there is forecast of heavy rain on Thursday (May 18). The state was facing severe heat for the last few days, although people have got relief due to the rain.

Scattered showers are also expected in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Kerala and Mahe. Whereas in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Telangana, the maximum temperature can reach above 40 degree Celsius at some places.
