MP News: In Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh, after listening to Bhagwat Katha, an old couple committed suicide by consuming sulfas. He had gone to listen to Bhagwat Katha at his daughter’s in-laws house but took this suicidal step on the way back home. While conducting the post-mortem of both the bodies, the police has expressed the possibility of suicide in the preliminary investigation. Police also found an empty bottle of sulfas near his body.
Inspector Manish Mishra of Hata police station area of Damoh said that on Wednesday (May 17) night, information was received that Hardayal Singh Lodhi (58 years) and his wife Bhagwati Lodhi (55 years) had gone to listen to their daughter’s in-laws discourse, but returned Did not return. Their family members and acquaintances found both of them dead in the field late on Wednesday night. An empty vial of the insecticide sulfas was found near the body, suggesting that he took the extreme step by consuming it.
The cause of the deaths will be known after the post mortem report
The couple had gone to listen to Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at Luhari village, three kilometers away from their house, in the evening. This story was happening at his daughter’s place. Police say that after the marriage, a probe has been launched to find out why the couple decided to end their lives. Bottles of sulfas were found near the body
The couple had returned home after listening to the discourse in Shrimad Bhagwat Katha organized by their daughter, but they could not reach home for a long time. Since he did not return home after the sermon, his family members and acquaintances started a search and found him dead in a field. They were shocked to see this. The family members immediately informed the police. Sulphas bottles were found lying near the bodies, suggesting that they took the extreme step after consuming bullets.
