This year also Indian Railways has announced a total of 380 special trains (Summer Special Train 2023) on different routes. These trains will make more than 6,300 trips to take the passengers to their destination.
Train will make more trips this year

Giving information about this, the Ministry of Railways has said that in order to control the passenger rush and provide confirmed ticket facility to all, the Railways arranged 1,770 more trips of special trains as compared to last year. Is. Last year, a total of 348 special trains made a total of 4,599 trips during the summer vacation. In such a situation, on an average last year a train made 13.2 trips, which has increased to 16.8 trips per train this year.
Special train will make maximum trips on these routes
It is worth noting that the Railways has started work on Patna-Secunderabad, Patna-Yesvantpur, Barauni-Muzaffarpur, Delhi-Patna, New Delhi-Katra, Chandigarh-Gorakhpur, Anand Vihar-Patna, Visakhapatnam-Puri-Howrah, Mumbai-Patna and Mumbai-Gorakhpur routes. It has been decided to increase the frequency of maximum special trains. Railways is running maximum number of special trains from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.
The special train to be operated from South Western Railway Karnataka will make a total of 1790 trips. And last year, the total number of trips of special trains in this region was 779. On the other hand, Western Railway will operate the maximum number of special trains from Gujarat for a total of 438 times. On the other hand, the special train operated by South Central Railway will make a total of 784 trips this year as against 80 trips last year. On the other hand, the special train operated by North Western Railway and East Central Railway will make a total of 400 and 380 trips. Special trains operated by Northern Railway will make a total of 324 trips.

Railways has also informed that the total number of special trains and trips during the summer vacation has not been fixed. Railways can also make some changes in the number of trains and trips according to the needs of the passengers.
