Josh Hazlewood Ruled Out: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has to play a match against Gujarat Titans (GT) on 21 May. RCB need to win this match to ensure their place in the playoffs. Before this match, RCB has got a big blow in the form of fast bowler Josh Hazlewood. RCB team director Mike Hesson informed about Hazlewood’s exit during his press conference.
Mike Hesson said in the press conference before the match against Gujarat Titans that Hazlewood is going to return home. There is no hope of him playing the match against Gujarat. Unfortunately he is injured again. Hazlewood played 3 matches in this season of IPL and in that he could manage to get only 3 wickets. RCB has already suffered 2 major setbacks earlier this season in the form of David Willey and Reece Topley. Now Hazlewood’s name has also been included in it.
Please tell that Josh Hazlewood could not play in the first half of this season due to injury. He played his first match on 1 May against Lucknow Super Giants. Now after getting injured again, he will not be seen playing further this season. Even if RCB makes it to the playoffs. Hazlewood had suffered an ankle injury earlier this year.
