Reasi Accident: On Sunday (May 21), a big event took place in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. A 27-year-old woman was killed and 24 others were injured when a Rajasthan-bound bus carrying pilgrims overturned after visiting Mata Vaishno Devi in ​​Reasi district, officials said.

Jammu zone’s Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Mukesh Singh quoted eyewitnesses as saying that the accident occurred when the driver lost control of the speeding vehicle due to a sharp turn. He told that some terrorist groups on social media are calling it a terrorist incident.

returning after visiting the temple
Officials said that the accident took place near Murree on the outskirts of Katra at around 1 pm. He told that there were 30 passengers in the bus, including women and children. Everyone was returning after visiting the temple.

Jaipur policy declared dead
Officials said that soon after the accident, rescuers including a team of local volunteers and police reached the spot and took the injured to the Community Health Center, Katra, where Jaipur’s policy was declared brought dead.

He said that out of 24 injured, 11 were later sent to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu for specialized treatment. ADGP Mukesh Singh said in a statement, “Some terrorist groups on social media sites are calling it a terrorist incident. It is not a terrorist incident. According to the statement of the driver and passengers/eyewitnesses, the driver lost control of the vehicle. The accident occurred due to the sharp turn and high speed of the vehicle.”
