Jaipur News: Over Rs 2.31 crore in cash and one kg of gold were recovered from a locked cupboard in the basement of the IT department of Yojana Bhawan, Jaipur. Most of the 500 and 2000 notes have been found in this amount. A team has also been formed to investigate the matter. BJP is raising this issue vigorously. At the same time, now Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, a minister in the Rajasthan government, has also spoken about action in this matter.
Pratap Singh Khachariawas said, ‘Action will be taken against the officers involved in the case. Rajasthan Police has seized the cash and will not spare anyone. If anyone is doing wrong, be it in the Center or in the Rajasthan government, he will have to face the consequences. Earlier on Friday, a late evening press conference was held by Police Commissioner Anand Srivastava. During this, he informed the journalists that two shelves were kept in the basement of the IT department of Yojana Bhavan.

Received more than two crore cash
He told that after a lot of efforts, when these shelves were opened, a suitcase with a laptop bag and a trolley appeared in it. When it was opened, the whole team was shocked because it was full of cash. After this, this information was immediately given to the police. After this the police reached the spot and started counting the money kept in the suitcase. Commissioner Srivastava told that the value of the cash was Rs 2.31 crore. Along with this, the weight of gold was 1 kg.
Police Commissioner Anand Srivastava told that seven employees are being interrogated in this matter by taking them into custody. Along with this, the investigation of the whole matter has also started. Jaipur Police Commissioner said that he will soon reveal the whole matter.
