India Weather Update: The whole of North India, including the country’s capital Delhi, is battling the heat these days. In Delhi’s Najafgarh, the mercury has crossed 46 degrees. However, according to the India Meteorological Department, there will be a change in the weather from tomorrow (May 24). At the same time, some relief from the heat will be seen in many states of North India.
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya from today (May 23). At the same time, there is full possibility of rain in Sikkim including Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh.
Weather will be like this in hilly areas
At the same time, change in the weather is being seen in the mountains. The weather has remained bad in many areas of Uttarakhand. There has been heavy rain in Kedarnath, Tungnath, Madhyamaheshwar, Kartik Swami and other high altitude areas. Kedarnath Dham Yatra is also facing problems due to rain. On the other hand, in Himachal Pradesh, the Meteorological Department has issued a ‘yellow alert’ for ten districts today and tomorrow. There is a possibility of thunderstorm with strong winds and hailstorm.
Rain likely to continue in Uttar Pradesh till May 26
Actually, due to western disturbance, the weather of the Himalayan region has changed. From today evening, there may be a dust storm in Rajasthan, then there may be light rains in North India including Delhi, which can provide some relief from the heat. At the same time, there is a possibility of hailstorm with light to moderate rain in some districts of Uttar Pradesh till May 26. During this, there is also a possibility of strong winds blowing at a speed of 40-50 kilometers per hour.
