3 blasts in a week
The latest blast reportedly took place at the house of a local TMC leader in Birbhum district of Bengal. Government besieged on scams
Apart from the blast, the officer also talked about the hearing in the Supreme Court on the petition of TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee on 26 May. Banerjee has challenged in the Supreme Court the decision of the Calcutta High Court to approve the investigation of the CBI and ED in the matter of teacher recruitment. Law is equal for all but my charge is on CBI and ED that they have left Mamata Banerjee in Saradha chit fund scam and her nephew (Abhishek Banerjee) in coal and cow smuggling case.
Earlier, the CBI had questioned TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee in connection with the school recruitment scam. Abhishek Banerjee criticized the agency’s decision to call him at short notice.
