UPSC Success Story: What can a person not do if his spirits are high? The result of the Civil Services Examination was released by UPSC on 23 May. In which a head constable posted in Delhi Police also got success. Ever since the results were released, there has been an influx of congratulatory people on the phone of Ram Bhajan, posted as head constable. Ram Bhajan has secured 667th rank in UPSC exam. A total of 933 candidates have been successful in the Civil Services Examination this year.
Ram Bhajan’s phone started ringing only after the UPSC released the result of the Civil Services Examination. From his family to senior officers called him to congratulate him. Apart from this, Delhi Police expressed happiness on its Twitter account and congratulated Head Constable Ram Bhajan.

big platform for service
Ram Bhajan belongs to a small village in Rajasthan. He says that his family has struggled a lot to educate him and meet his daily needs. But he never expected any. He was posted as a constable in the Delhi Police in the year 2009. Ram Bhajan says that he always wanted a bigger platform to serve the people and wanted to do more for the society than what he is currently doing.
success in 8th attempt
Ram Bhajan tells that this was his eighth attempt. As he comes from OBC category then he is eligible to give nine attempts. He says that even if he had not passed the exam this time, he would have continued his preparation for the next attempt. However, to improve the rank, he will appear again in the upcoming preliminary examination. Even after many failures, he did not lose courage and finally passed the exam. His wife kept on increasing his enthusiasm regarding the preparation of the exam. In the year 2019, in the UPSC exam, constable Firoz Alam, posted in Delhi Police, passed the civil service exam. After which he became ACP, Ram Bhajan has also taken a lot of inspiration from him.
