Dehradun Delhi Vande Bharat: Indian Railways is continuously working to start Vande Bharat train in different parts of the country. Tomorrow Uttarakhand is going to get the gift of Vande Bharat train for the first time. Prime Minister Modi will flag off the Dehradun Delhi Vande Bharat train through video conferencing. This train will run between Dehradun to Delhi’s Anand Vihar Terminal. We are giving you information about the route, fare and timing of this train.

Know about the route of Dehradun-Delhi Vande Bharat train-

The Vande Bharat train running between Dehradun Delhi will pass through a total of five stations Haridwar, Roorkee, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar and Meerut City. The journey of this train from Dehradun to Delhi and from Delhi to Dehradun will be completed in just 4.5 hours. Earlier it used to take more than 6 hours to cover the distance between the two cities. The last stop of this train is Anand Vihar Terminal.

What is the timing of the train?

PM Modi will inaugurate the Dehradun Delhi Vande Bharat train tomorrow at 11 am. After this it will operate six days a week. The train will not run on Wednesday. Talking about timings, this train from Dehradun will start at 7 am and reach Anand Vihar railway station at 11.45 am. On the other hand, the train will run from Anand Vihar at 5.50 minutes and reach Dehradun at 10.35 minutes. In such a situation, this train will complete the journey of 314 kilometers in just 4.45 minutes. Earlier Shatabdi Express used to cover this distance in 6 hours 10 minutes. Whereas Jan Shatabdi and Nanda Devi Express will take 5 hours 50 minutes to cover this distance.

How much will be the rent-

There will be a total of 8 coaches in the Dehradun Delhi Vande Bharat train. According to media reports, the chair car fare in this train will be Rs 535 between Dehradun to Delhi, which is very less as compared to Shatabdi Express. The chair car fare of Shatabdi Express is Rs 805 and the executive class ticket is Rs 1,405. It is worth noting that after the introduction of Vande Bharat train, tourism has got a boost in the state. Tourists will now take less time to travel from Delhi to Haridwar, Mussoorie and Rishikesh.
