TDP To Join New Parliament Building Inauguration: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) said on Thursday (May 25) that it would attend the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament House in New Delhi on May 28. TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu took this decision after receiving an invitation from the Lok Sabha Secretary General. Presently TDP has one member in Rajya Sabha and three in Lok Sabha.
TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu has asked Rajya Sabha member Kanakamedla Ravindra Kumar to represent the party at the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament building, according to a statement issued by the party. On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh’s ruling party YSR Congress chief and Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy had confirmed on Wednesday (May 24) evening that his party would also participate in the inauguration ceremony.

Chandrababu Naidu further said, ‘I wish that the new Parliament House becomes a place of transformative policy and decision making. On completion of 100 years of independence, by 2047, the dream of a poverty-free India will be fulfilled, where the gap between the rich and the poor will be bridged.
