Finland News: In Finland, a man who made more than 100 children his victims through Snapchat was sent to jail on Thursday (May 25). This person named Jesse Erkonen used to trap innocent children in his words through social media, then blackmailed them by demanding their nude photos.
120 girls have made allegations against 27-year-old Jesse. Most of these girls are in the age group of 12 to 16. The court of Pirkanmaa in southern Finland sent this young man to jail for blackmailing girls. The youth was accused of targeting underage girls through social media. Earlier he used to befriend minor girls. After which he got caught in his words and used to ask for news pictures and videos from him.
10 years in jail
During the hearing, the court also admitted that while meeting minor girls, Jesse used to make them consume drugs fraudulently. After which he used to take advantage of the girl being unconscious. Jesse has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for 20 counts of aggravated child sexual abuse, 59 counts of child sexual abuse as well as other charges including blackmail, intimidation. There were a total of 190 charges against Jesse.
Used to blackmail through pictures
Most of the girls that Jesse made his victims are from the city of Valkekoski and the surrounding area. The accused persuaded some of the victims to meet and engage in sexual activity by promising them money, alcohol, tobacco or cannabis, and then threatened the girls to spread the photographs. The accused said in his defense in the court that I do not remember all this. The matter came to light in the year 2021, when the victims mentioned these incidents to their school teacher.
