PTI Leader Quit Party: Three leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday (May 25) announced to leave Imran Khan’s party. Many leaders have left the party after the May 9 riots. According to Geo News, Malika Bukhari said in a press conference in Islamabad, ‘I condemn the incidents that happened on 9th May. The incidents that happened on May 9 are very painful for every Pakistani.
Announcing her separation from the PTI party, Bukhari said that she was not under any pressure and no one has forced me to take this decision. According to Geo News, she said that as a lawyer, I want to play a positive role in Pakistan. I also want to spend time with my family.
Malika Bukhari left the party after being released from jail
Malika Bukhari left the party hours after she was released from Adiala Jail, where she was sent after being arrested under Section 4 of Maintenance of Public Order. Bukhari supported the decision of the authorities to investigate the events of 9 May and said that those behind the violent incidents should be punished.
He said that when someone has crossed the danger mark then action should be taken according to the law. Apart from this, Jamshed Cheema said in a separate press conference – he and his wife cannot live with the party led by Khan due to the violence that took place after the arrest of the PTI chief. I myself was in the Corps Commander’s house. I was saddened to see what was happening there. Those who were involved in this should be punished.

Jamshed Cheema said that if its workers are violent then it is the failure of the party. Politics is in our blood. The decision to leave was not an easy one. You serve the country in politics, but not at the cost of the armed forces.
Pakistan’s former Finance Minister Asad Umar has resigned from the post of General Secretary of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Pakistan-based The Express Tribune newspaper reported that Umar made the announcement soon after his release from Adiala Jail. Omar announced his decision on Wednesday during a press conference at the National Press Club in Islamabad.
