UP Nagar Nikay Swearing-in Ceremony: In Uttar Pradesh, the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected president and councilors is going on in all 17 bodies including Aligarh’s Atrauli and Khair Nagar Palika on Friday. In Aligarh, the oath-taking program for 15 Nagar Panchayats and two municipalities is being held at 17 different places. For this, the DM has entrusted the responsibility of administering oath to different officers, in which SDM, ASDM and ACM have been given this responsibility.
SDM Vinay Katiyar administered the oath to Municipal President Virendra Singh and Councilors in Atrauli Municipality, while ACM Pratham in Vijaygarh, while ASDL Cole administered the oath in Jalali. At the same time, the swearing-in ceremony of the Municipal Corporation mayor and councilors will be held on Saturday morning at the Krishnajali auditorium located at the exhibition ground. On Friday, newly elected Anil Tiwari alias Bhole ji was administered the oath of Nagar Panchayat President on behalf of ACM First in Vijaygarh Nagar Panchayat. Along with this, the ward councilors were also administered oath. ASDM Bhavna Vimal administered oath to Councilors including Fateh Singh of Bahujan Samaj Party for the post of President of Nagar Panchayat Jalali.
