The Uttar Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will start a mass contact campaign from May 30 on the completion of nine years of the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to a statement released on Thursday, to make this campaign a success, senior leaders of the party, including central ministers, have been assigned the responsibility of different Lok Sabha constituencies. Reacting to this, Samajwadi Party (SP) president and former Chief Minister of the state Akhilesh Yadav on Friday targeted the ruling BJP and said that this mass contact campaign is showing that the BJP has lost contact with the poor and the villages.< /p>
