According to news agency ANI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will dedicate the new Parliament House to the nation on Sunday (May 28). Invitations have been sent to MPs of both the Houses (Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha) in both physical and digital form to attend this grand event.

Along with this, according to sources, invitations have also been sent to the Chief Ministers of all the states and union territories. Sources said, “Apart from the sitting members of both the Houses, invitations have also been sent to former Speakers of Lok Sabha and former Chairmen of Rajya Sabha. All chief ministers have also been invited to attend the inauguration.
At the same time, Harivansh, the current Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha, is likely to attend the ceremony. Apart from this, invitations have also been sent to the secretaries of all the ministries of the Government of India. Chief Architect of the new Parliament House Bimal Patel and industrialist Ratan Tata have also been invited. Actually, Tata Projects had taken the contract for the construction of this Parliament House. It was also a part of the Centre’s Central Vista redevelopment plans. Along with this, some prominent personalities including film personalities and sportspersons have also been invited.
President and Vice President will give congratulatory message
Sources said that President Draupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar are likely to deliver congratulatory messages on the occasion. During this, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will deliver a speech in the new Parliament House and PM Modi is likely to deliver a speech. All the members of the Parliament will sit in the Lok Sabha chamber only. More than 800 people can sit in this hall.
