New Parliament Inauguration: Opposition parties are opposing the inauguration of the country’s new parliament building. It is constantly being attacked by the BJP. Keshav Prasad Maurya has said that the opposition should stop the drama of their protest, otherwise the public will stop them from even going to the Parliament. Significantly, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Will inaugurate the new Parliament House on Sunday. The inauguration ceremony will begin on Sunday morning with havan and prayers from different religions, after which PM Modi will formally inaugurate the Lok Sabha chamber. Officials said that at around seven in the morning, there will be a havan in the Parliament complex outside the new building, where the high priest of the Shaiv sect will hand over the ceremonial scepter ‘Sengol’ to PM Modi. Sengol will be installed near the seat of the Speaker of the Lok Sabha in the new Parliament House.
21 opposition parties boycotted the inauguration ceremony
new parliament building The main function of the inauguration is likely to begin on Sunday afternoon in the presence of the Prime Minister, former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh and others. Along with former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, former Lok Sabha Speaker Shivraj Patil, Congress President and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, leaders of opposition parties have also been invited. At least 21 opposition parties have announced a boycott of the inauguration ceremony, while 25 will attend, including 18 NDA constituents and seven non-NDA parties.
