According to SBI, this work is very easy and for this customers do not need to visit the bank. Customers just have to make a call and after entering few numbers, their lost or stolen ATM/Debit card will be blocked instantly. For this, SBI has also given a step-by-step method. you know it too
Learn here the easy way
- SBI customers only have to call the service center of SBI whose number is 1800 1234 or 1800 2100.
- To block the card, you have to call 1800 1234 or 1800 2100 from your registered mobile number.
- After calling this number, press 0 to block your Debit or ATM card. To stop UPI or Internet banking also you have to press 0 only.
- After this you press 1 to block the card.
- If you are asked for card number or account number, then you enter the last 4 numbers of any one of these.
- After that press number 1 again.
After doing these steps, your card will be blocked and you will get the SMS of the card block from the bank. This message will come on your registered mobile number only.
